MECHANICAL engineeR INTERN
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will work with a mentor to develop the next-generation of chemical propulsion systems. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of development, including research and design, testing, and launch.
Responsibilities include: Design and modeling of mechanical components, inspection and verification of incoming hardware, lab test development and execution.
Dates: Fall 2018, with potential for the position to extend into Spring 2019.
Hours: 5-20 per week
EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will help build the next generation of small satellite propulsion and attitude control systems, enabling a paradigm shift in the satellite marketplace. Previous experience developing embedded software for high-reliability systems is desirable.
Responsibilities include: C/C++/Assembly development for microcontrollers and embedded microprocessers; Software Quality Assurance; Work with Electrical and Manufacturing Engineers to develop system design-validation and assembly-validation tests.
Propulsion Products manager
As the Propulsion Products Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to bring propulsion systems from research and design through development, testing, and launch. You will manage multiple products being developed in parallel, and dynamically adjust schedules in response to customer requirements and resource availability.
Responsibilities include: Customer communication; Standards evaluation and compliance; Trade studies; Project planning and managment; Team leadership.
