It was an incredible opportunity to give a firsthand look at our progress in developing in-space propulsion systems.  We are pioneering an emerging market with solutions that meet the demand of commercial and government customers planning to operate thousands of small satellites over the next several years. We take pride in showcasing what a small Vermont tech business can accomplish with early support from VCET, local talent, and accelerated growth. Thank you, Senator Patrick Leahy! Our team appreciates your interest and encouragement in our “hard tech” innovations. The stories that were shared on the Senator’s past experiences were truly inspiring and illustrated that we were in great company. ‍ [PREVIOUS POST](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/launchcapital-funding) ![image](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/5d00264402bbf47d523f3146_OLLdc_RG.jpg) ### LaunchCapital Funding Announcement [NEXT POST](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/b125-hot-fire-testing) ### B125 Hot Fire Testing ![image](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/5d88ca3614d5ee8a8e377ad0_Hotfire%20Snapshot.jpg) [whatsapp://send?text=https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/a-visit-from-senator-patrick-leahy](whatsapp://send?text=https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/a-visit-from-senator-patrick-leahy) ### Related Posts [[![](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/5d88ca3614d5ee8a8e377ad0_Hotfire%20Snapshot.jpg?width=352&name=5d88ca3614d5ee8a8e377ad0_Hotfire%20Snapshot.jpg)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/b125-hot-fire-testing)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/b125-hot-fire-testing) ### [B125 Hot Fire Testing](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/b125-hot-fire-testing) [[![](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/5f1ae0f78cdd0c1d94e82409_Ad%20-%20LinkedIn.jpg?width=352&name=5f1ae0f78cdd0c1d94e82409_Ad%20-%20LinkedIn.jpg)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/propulsion-workshop-101)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/propulsion-workshop-101) ### [Learning From Home: Running and Building Our Propulsion Workshop in Unprecedented Times](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/propulsion-workshop-101) [[![](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Vermont%20Womens%20Group.png?width=352&name=Vermont%20Womens%20Group.png)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/stem-womens-resource-group)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/stem-womens-resource-group) ### [Benchmark's Women's Resource Group](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/stem-womens-resource-group) [[![](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/5e1f59ba86d5b58319e36a94_EndofYear.jpg?width=352&name=5e1f59ba86d5b58319e36a94_EndofYear.jpg)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/ceo-update)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/ceo-update) ### [A Letter From Our CEO](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/news/post/ceo-update) [![Benchmark Space Systems](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hubfs/Benchmark-Logo-ALLWHITE.png)](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/) Designing and manufacturing propulsion systems for responsive, sustainable in-space operations. ![US-United-States-Flag-icon](https://www.benchmarkspacesystems.com/hs-fs/hubfs/US-United-States-Flag-icon.png?width=40&height=40&name=US-United-States-Flag-icon.png) -
