Summer is winding down, but our lab is heating up! We are performing the first round of hot fire testing on our B125 system. Thanks to our talented and hard-working team we are firing through customer and internal milestones before the holiday weekend. In collaboration with the USAF, we are developing an innovative technology that will improve in-space propulsion for small satellites. The B125 delivers a non-toxic ‘green’, high thrust propulsion system to the small satellite market. Our propriety On Demand Pressurization System (ODPS) enables an unpressurized launch, which will ease typical launch safety and readiness protocols for satellites equipped with propulsion.
The Benchmark Space team is eager to continue testing and advancing our technology even further. We are proud of our innovations that address challenges with alternative systems in this class: lead time, launch safety, and power consumption.
