Welcome Brad!

We’d like to welcome Brad Hoover, the newest member of the Benchmark Space Systems team. Brad will be joining our Engineering department, where he will bring his wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the space industry to lead our research and development efforts.

Brad was born and raised in Florida where his passion for the space industry was ignited amidst the days of the shuttle program.  During his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, he worked for two years in the Center for Microgravity Research designing and building flight experiments. This opportunity afforded him hands-on experience with the full engineering product life cycle, most notably including a project that was launched to the International Space Station.  After graduation, Brad began his professional career with Lockheed Martin Space as a trajectory analyst. This role soon led him to the Engineering Leadership Development Program, that included positions in the propulsion development laboratory and the on-orbit propulsion operations group for an Air Force satellite.  Brad is currently pursuing an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Purdue.
