As our Vice President of Supply Chain, Peder doesn’t just ensure the right parts arrive on time; he shapes the partnerships and systems that define our operational excellence. His ability to negotiate with unwavering precision, while cultivating genuine collaboration, has been instrumental in driving supplier performance and resilience across our programs. Peder brings intensity and care to every decision—qualities that ripple through every successful customer delivery we make.

What is your role at Benchmark?
My Procurement team ensures that we source the right materials and services, to meet Benchmark’s highest quality standards, while optimizing time and cost. This includes working with the Benchmark team to determine our purchasing needs and plan. We then choose the right set of strategic suppliers and work out how best to partner with them to maximize the supply chain value for Benchmark and our mission partners.
What projects are you currently working on?
Every project that we work on has an external aspect, so I am excited that I get to touch almost everything in my role. In terms of our suppliers, we’re working hard to make sure we have the right mix of strong partners and importantly, supply redundancy in key technologies so that our supply chain is fully resilient.
What's been a highlight of your career at Benchmark?
Seeing completed customer deliveries leaving our dock is something that gives me a great deal of satisfaction. These shipments are the culmination of a lot of time, effort, passion and expertise from our entire supplier and Benchmark team – and are the opportunity for us to delight our customers.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I love to spend time with my family – whenever possible, on the lake when the season and weather allows. In the winter I am an enthusiastic skier.
